Hello Boss!

A mobile application that provides an alternative transport solution for users as well as bridge a gap in the market.Interestingly, this project is not focused on the user per se but the user's transport as well. It was during research that a common user 'denominator' was discovered. This led to the inception of the 'Hello Boss' application. It was found that users intentionally chose not to drive or make other arrangements just so that they can attend a make-merry session. Why do users have to succumb to those choices or inconvenience themselves when there are alternative solutions to this predicament. The solution was to provide a service platform that drive users and their transport home. Car jockeys! This app bridges the need when users have their car in their possession and lack sobriety. The app compares credibility, reviews, rates, proximity and availability across all jockeying services. A fuss free solution with peace of mind intact! Truly a fun and useful tool to create!

Redmart (Before Lazada)

Redmart is a well loved grocery shopping app that has been in the market since 2011. However, I approached this project as a newbie. Because I, myself am a conventional grocery shopper. I prefer to go to the physical store. It was a new experience for me as i just could not fathom someone else picking out the food i was going to consume and trust that it would track its way to me in a timely fashion. I was excited to say the least at the prospect of not having to lug home groceries on rainy days!During research, i got to examine the head space of users who chose this service instead of the traditional methods of purchase, what this service entails, what their frustrations were and how the user experience could be improved. It was fascinating to investigate this new mode of shopping which even made me seriously reconsider the way i should shop going forward!

SkinnyMint (Global | Asia HQ Singapore)

SkinnyMint is a global brand that was founded in 2014. My team and myself were tasked to study and improve the user experience of the brand and their products. SkinnyMint has it's strongest presence in the United States and has long established itself as a leading product solution in the detox and cleansing arena. Namely their hero product, 'Teatox/Teatox programme". SkinnyMint is a brand that is passionate about their products and their consumers. That is why they are always evolving, improving and innovating themselves. As such, my team and i were engaged to study the user journeys, frustrations, reservations, pain points and also discover the possible gaps in the brand/product experience. We knew based on brief, we would be researching audiences from across the globe. This meant that we would be making meaningful improvements to the users on a massive scale! That made the whole experience that much more exciting! We not only immersed ourselves in the brand history but also their products as part of research! The best way to understand our users is to experience what our users do! This helped us go further in proposing interesting concepts that could contribute to the continued brand engagements and loyalty. The whole process was fulfilling and meaningful. User experience is so much more than the notion of demand and supply. It is also about delighting the user at first contact, during and ever-lasting!
